A wonderful book, this is an enthusiast's book, if you would like to learn more about this soon to be classic warplane, this is an excellent addition to your library. However, if you're looking for a book with performance, maneuverability, radar range, strengths and weaknesses, you'll have to find more books on the Eagle. This book does come with plentiful pictures (not many color pictures though) Technical schematics, and some history. | ||

I haven't read this book. So neither do I know how good it is. If it actually means to tell you about Flogger in action, it better mention the 1999 Kargil War apart from Afghanistan and Chechnya. I guess MiG-27 saw the best action there only. | ||

two most fascinating fighter projects of the east. The S-37 and MiG
article 1.42/1.44. Unfortunately none of them will see a service life,
but these are definitely the predecessor to the next 5th gen eastern
fighters. S-37 has been covered very well in this book. The photos are simply awesome. MFI's photos are, though in no way brief, but the Air-Air photos do lack. MFI hardly saw much flight time. But the photos in this book are the rarest photos of S-37 and MFI ever seen. And of course don't expect to find any of them on net! |

for. It is important for any aviation buff/enthusiast to be familiar
with the latest technology that is soon about to show up! so thumbs up
